Friendship between India and Pakistan is important...

The “Dosti” (friendship) concept existed in the hearts of almost every Indian and Pakistani long before the day we were divided in August of 1947. But living back home in South East Asia, to publicly discuss or share sentiments of Dosti can have adverse effects at times.  Some of our politicians and community leaders have their own motives and Dosti can be harmful, thus becoming a hurdle for them.  So a very active brainwash campaign is launched to poison the minds of innocent people in both India and Pakistan. But when these same people migrate and start living in the free Western world they realize almost at once how much they have in common.  When our Creator has given us a chance through these blessed societies to better understand and interact with each other, we should certainly take advantage of it.

Come, let us together light the “Dosti Torch”.

So our next generation and even today’s generation should learn from the old maxim that “United We Stand and Divided We Fall”.  When divided, we have a lot at stake; we play into the hands of our leaders and nurture their vested interests. When united, we have lot in common. Hand in hand we can accomplish Dosti.  It enlightens our hearts, minds and souls.

No matter what, we all have to coexist in this world irrespective of our caste, creed or religion, so let’s form a common Dosti platform.

Dosti alone is the way for all of us to flourish.
